Review - 'Top Hat' at The New Theatre, Oxford

I found it very inspiring because it goes to show if you put a lot of time and effort in, you can produce some amazing things.

Review of the film - 'The Imitation Game'

On Sunday 16th November I went to see the imitation games at the cinema. It was a captivating story based on true events of a group of coders in WW2 who broke the enigma code, which was a type of code used by the Germans to send secret messages......

Reviews - The Wizard of Oz at Oxford Playhouse

For part B I had to review a performance of my choice. After a long search on theatre websites my family and I came across the Oxford Playhouse website. We found out that the Oxfordshire Youth Music Theatre (OYMT), a group of very keen performers in Year 10 and above, were going to put on a production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ from Wednesday 8th to Saturday 11th May 2013. This seemed like a perfect show to review for this task.......

Reviews - Born Free Tour

On the 17th June 2013 at St John Evangelist Church, Oxford I went to see Brian May and Kerry Ellis in the Born Free Tour. When we arrived at the church I was very excited because this was the first and probably the only time I would see Brian May. I didn’t know what to expect but by the end of the evening, I was very happy. I was very excited to be in an audience watching the two artists as they are very good in what they do.

Review - The Sound of Music

For my Part B, I decided to watch The Oxford Operatic Society's: The Sound of Music. I have watched the film many times and have seen it in the West End performed by Connie Fisher who won the televised competition, so I was very excited to be watching an amateur production of one of my favourite musicals. To read Thomas's full review, take a look at his Prezi presentation -
