WOAPA - West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts is offering FREE scholarship places to attend its Saturday afternoon school for one year.

WOAPA is an independent Children’s Theatre School based at Henry Box School, Witney, offering classes in dance, singing and acting.

The Scholarships being offered are for our Saturday afternoon  school, 2.00pm to 5.00pm (Young Performers for our Saturday 12pm -1pm class)
Places are being offered to give children from a variety of backgrounds, an opportunity to participate in the Performing Arts.

Alongside providing the students with opportunities to gain skills in Performing Arts, WOAPA aims to improve the health and prospects of children throughout West Oxfordshire.
By offering scholarships we are hoping to give those children who, perhaps, wouldn’t usually be able to attend a drama school, the chance to benefit from all the positive aspects of the performing arts including increased physical fitness levels, confidence, a positive attitude and a sense of achievement.

We have wonderful tutors, all hand-picked for their experience and enthusiasm for working with children in the Performing Arts. 
We have a keen eye on providing good customer service and parents regularly tell us they think we’re the best theatre school for children in the area.

WOAPA has arranged for, and assisted, students to appear in local productions, professional stage shows (locally and national tours) in film, television, music videos and advertisements as well as supporting and coaching many of our students through LAMDA exams.

We regularly invite industry professionals to our school, to provide master-class sessions, giving our students access to work with performers at the top of their game.
