Christmas Lights Switch on Event 2016 - Town Centre, Witney
In recent years, the Witney Christmas lights switch-on event has been planned by Witney Town Council.
WOAPA Adult Singers & Students performed on the main stage at the event in 2012 and we received many fantastic comments in praise of our performance.
In 2013, the council were unable to continue to organise the event, so the local Witney Lions club organised a Christmas Fayre on Church Green. WOAPA's Adult Singers & Students also performed at this event.

Since 2014 Witney Round Table Club organised a similar event in Market Square, Witney.
The date for this year's event has been set for FRIDAY 25th NOVEMBER, 4.00pm - 8.00pm supported by Witney Town Council and jointly organised by Witney Rotary Club, Witney Lions and Witney Round Table.
We are delighted to be joining the festivities this year - see WOAPA students and adult singers on stage around 6pm - just after the lights have been switched on!
