Due to the pandemic, things are going to be a bit different.
Instead of the traditional full carnival, there will be a scaled-back event,
The Witney Big Family Picnic is a free, family-friendly event that will be held on The Leys recreation ground, Witney between 12 and 5PM.
As a picnic event, you are encouraged to take your own food and drink but there will be a few food outlets, beer, Prosecco, a tea tent, and The Coffee Shed.
There will be several attractions, particularly for children, including the ever-popular Smiley Train.
There will be a live music stage featuring bands, many of them local, playing a mix of family-friendly tunes.
The event is organised by Witney Lions club, Witney Rotary club, The Witney Round table and 2120 Witney Squadron.
