West Side Story audition success for WOAPA student
Congratulations to West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts student Edd Conroy, who has been successful in passing recent auditions for the Oxfordshire Youth Musical Theatre (OYMT) current production of 'West Side Story', to be performed in Oxford in April 2018.
Edd will be performing in the role of Riff.
Edd has attended Performing Arts classes for the past 5 years at WOAPA, and has gained a Bronze Arts Award with us. He is currently studying Drama, French and English at A-Level.
Edd has appeared professionally in the national tours of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and in the Children's Choir for 'Joseph And The Amazing Techni-color Dreamcoat".
Edd has also appeared as Michael in 'Billy Elliot', Gaston in 'Beauty & The Beast', Fagin in 'Oliver!' and Nanki-Poo in ‘The Hot Mikado’
West Side Story will be performed between 18th - 21st April
