WOAPA student heads for Munchkinland

Congratulations to WOAPA student, Iona, who will be heading to Oz this summer.
Congratulations to West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts student Iona, who has been successful in passing recent auditions to appear in The Wizard of Oz at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon. Iona will appear in the ensemble as well as appearing as The Mayor of Munchkinland!
Iona has been singing, dancing and acting at WOAPA for 7 years and has taken part in many of our performances.
She recently took her grade 6 (Bronze medal) LAMDA exam (acting) at WOAPA which she passed with a distinction.
Earlier this year, Iona performed with the Oxfordshire Youth Music Theatre (OYMT) 2022/2023 cast, in the musical: 'Godspell'
She is delighted to be joining the SYP cast at the Wyvern theatre this August in 'The Wizard of Oz'.
