WOAPA student flying high in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Congratulations to WOAPA student, Mollie A who is set to perform this summer in the stage musical of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Based on the much-loved 1968 film and based on Ian Fleming’s children’s book, the musical features unforgettable songs by the Sherman Brothers – including Toot Sweets, Me Ol’ Bamboo, Hushabye Mountain and many more.

Mollie will perform as Jemima in the show on 22nd - 24th August at The Wyvern Theatre, Swindon.

Mollie also recently performed, over the festive period, in a professional production of 'The Pied Piper' at The Cornerstone, Didcot (pictured above

Mollie, age 9yrs, from Faringdon, has attended Performing Arts classes at West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts in Witney for just over 3 years. She originally joined our 'Young Performers' class for 4-6 year-olds then graduated to our Main School where she attends classes in Singing, Dance & Drama.

Everyone at WOAPA wishes Mollie 'All The Best' for her performance.

West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts is an independent Theatre School for children aged 4-16 years, which operates at weekends during the standard academic term.

Our classes are led by experienced tutors whose skills in working with young people enable our students to develop at their own pace, and encourage them to reach their true potential.

Providing quality tuition in the three disciplines of Singing, Dance and Drama, our classes ensure that your child receives the individual attention he or she deserves.

We promote a positive environment - where students have fun as they celebrate their individuality and achievements.

Working as part of a team, students are encouraged to be creative and become multi-disciplined, all-round performers.
At WOAPA, we take pride in going that extra mile. We offer fantastic additional opportunities to our students and have assisted our students to appear in local productions, professional stage shows (locally and national tours) in film, television and advertisements.
