WOAPA awarded 'Performing Arts School of The Year'
Recently, we received the news in the WOAPA office that we had been shortlisted for the category, Performing Arts School of the Year
by Prestige Awards.
This week, we were informed that we were selected as their 2024/25 winner!
They told us:
"The judges were extremely impressed and in such a competitive category, you were selected as the only winner! ... You were the strongest entrant in the category and we are pleased to recognise your hard work".
For the last 16 years, PRESTIGE have been running national and international awards. In 2018 they introduced their regional awards, to recognise smaller, independent businesses that are extremely successful on a local level.
All participating businesses, organisations and individuals are passed onto a panel of industry expert judges who then ultimately
pick a winner.
Publicly sourced information is also used such as reviews,
testimonials, core values & services, branding as well as information
provided on the company’s website and their social media platforms.
WOAPA would like to thank our amazing team of tutors and assistants, who work so hard to ensure WOAPA students receive the best tuition in Performing Arts and that each student is enabled to be the very best version of themselves.

Since WOAPA was founded nearly 14 years ago, our mission has always been to build confidence in the performing arts for children. We're proud to say that this goal remains our top priority. In 2024, we saw it come to life more than ever, with a record number of students auditioning for professional shows—and many of them landing the roles! We also had more students than ever performing in festive shows across the county. But our reach goes beyond just those aiming for the stage - WOAPA is also a safe place for children to come together, make friends, have fun and just ‘Be’. It’s incredibly humbling to hear from parents, schools, and others about the positive impact WOAPA is having on young lives and we are thrilled to receive this award in recognition of that.
