Witney Choir | Choir in Witney | Singing Group

Our singing group began with 23 singers in September 2011, and has become extremely popular - now with over 80 people enrolled.
We meet each Wednesday at
The Henry Box School, Witney, Oxfordshire. OX28 4AX

There are no auditions to join - and no requirement to be able to read music. The emphasis is on having FUN, while singing with like-minded people (we try not to over-use the word 'choir' as we feel that often creates images of black skirts & coloured scarves - and may put some people off!). Our singers often tell us how great they feel after our sessions. Take a look at some of their comments HERE

We aim for a very contemporary repertoire - 'GaGa', Adele, Buble, Robbie Williams, Olly Murs, One Direction, Lenka, Glee, Emile Sande, Jessie J and Bruno Mars are already on our list!
We often perform in the local community and beyond, including Christmas Light switch-ons, Outdoor festivals, flashmobs and even The Royal Albert Hall. For a full list of past performances please see below.
Your first session is a 'FREE taster'. Please feel free to turn up at any of our Singing sessions (please check dates & times page to make sure we haven't inserted a change of date/time/venue)
Keep visiting the Adult Singing Group page on our website for dates of future WOAPA Singing Group performances!
