Witney Carnival will take place on The Leys Recreation Ground on Saturday 13th July 2013.
The Carnival Procession through the town centre will leave at 11:00am, with the official opening at 12:15pm.
Entry to the carnival is free.
Starting at 11am the Carnival makes it's way from The Leys past Church Green and the Buttercross, by way of the Market Place into Corn Street, Holloway Road, Welch Way, and the High Street before returning past the Townhall and Church Green to The Leys for the official opening ceremony at 12.15.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Witney, Witney Lions, Witney Round Table and the Air Training Corps (ATC), the Carnival is the biggest event in the Town each year.
It is also a major fund raising event for the organising clubs who use the profits to make donations to local charities, ensuring the proceeds benefit the community.
