Kylie Choreographer in Witney

We are thrilled that Tim Noble is coming to Witney on Saturday February 18^th 2012 to help us launch the West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts.

Tim, choreographer to Kylie Minogue, is preparing to demonstrate the very latest dance ideas and trends with his exciting workshops at WOAPA.

Before joining Kylie Minogue’s team, Tim appeared in the west end in “Grease The Musical” and “Starlight Express”. Since joining Kylie, Tim has been her main dancer, Dance Captain and also choreographed a number of her videos and live international shows, including her “Show Girl World Tour” in 2005.

As well as working with Kylie, Noble’s company ‘Purestar Productions’ has worked with performers such as Girls Aloud, Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Jamelia

Tim has also worked as choreographer and dance mentor on ‘Pop idol’ in Holland. Other projects include Disney’s High School Musical spectacular and the UK National Sister Act Tour

While continuing to choreograph for international stars, Noble works tirelessly to inspire and motivate young talent in the UK. “We aim to give kids the wow factor, give them a boost and really motivate them,” he says.

The Tim Noble workshops are just part of the launch of the WOAPA – West Oxfordshire’s newest independant theatre school for children. We are so excited to be able to bring top professionals like Tim to work with our students in Witney. It is such a rare treat to have Tim visit us. I’m sure everyone who takes part in the workshops will be inspired by his talent and infectious energy.

The workshops, throughout the day, will take students through various dance styles including musical theatre and commercial dance. Drawing from his wealth of experience in performance and choreography, Tim will offer the children a rare insight into the life of a professional dancer. At the end of each workshop all the children will take part in a presentation for families and friends, and each child will receive a certificate from Tim. Each child will also receive a souvenir T shirt as a reminder of the day.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with someone with Tim’s amazing experience. I’m sure Tim will be an inspiration to all who take part. For many, it really will be a day to remember.
