Eynsham Carnival 2014

Eynsham Carnival 2014

2014 IS THE 68TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE EYNSHAM CARNIVAL

The Eynsham Carnival began after the Second World War and is always held on the first Saturday in July.
Its original home was on the Bartholomew School site in the Witney Road, but later, as it grew in size, it moved to the recreation ground where it still remains.

The Carnival is planned and provided each year by a volunteer Committee, most of who live in the village. The Committee is supported by 4 local organisations, known as ‘Parent Bodies’ who provide help and support during the year and particularly on the day itself when we rely on many willing extra volunteers.

These Parent Bodies are:

The Royal British Legion, Eynsham Scouting groups, St Leonard's Church and the Rotary Club of Eynsham

It's a marvellous family day out.
