The Eynsham Carnival in 2013 will be held on Saturday 6th July
The Eynsham Carnival is one of the oldest carnivals in the country.
Beginning after the Second World War, the annual Eynsham Carnival, held in July, was established, first on the Bartholomew School site in the Witney Road and later on the recreation ground.
The Eynsham Carnival itself is staffed entirely by unpaid committee members and unpaid volunteer helpers and assistants.
Income from the Eynsham Carnival is donated to the parent bodies who are the Royal British Legion, Eynsham Scouting, St Leonard's Church and the Rotary Club of Eysham
