Congratulations to West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts student, Maddie Good, who has been successful in passing recent auditions for this year's pantomime in Chipping Norton: 'Robin Hood'
This will be the third pantomime in Chipping Norton that Maddie has appeared in, as she also performed in 'Jack & The Giant' and last year's production of 'Mother Goose'.
Maddie was recently delighted to be one of only six children offered a part in 2015's 'Summer Panto Chaos', also at the Theatre in Chipping Norton, marking their 40th anniversary.
Maddie's previous performances also include appearing as Brigitta Von Trapp at The New Theatre, Oxford with the Oxford Operatic Society.
Child actors (Pippins) have always played an integral role in the pantomimes at Chipping Norton and unlike many other Christmas shows, they get great characters, lines and songs.
This year directors were looking for 12 'Pippins' between the ages of 8 and 14 to make up three teams as part of their company of professional actors. 'Pippins' act, dance and sing and help create the magic of pantomime!
