LATEST COVID-19 NEWS - January 2021

Following the Prime Minister's recent announcement about ‘Lock-down 3.0’,
we have taken the decision to pause all our classes at WOAPA for the time being.
Under the current Government guidelines, children's activities cannot take place
and we need to return to Tier 3 or less to resume in-person classes.
We understand that parents may be feeling a little overwhelmed by online learning or working from home, therefore we have taken the decision to reduce screen-time overload
and will not be offering our classes via Zoom.

We are continuing to accept requests for taster sessions for when classes re-open
to book your place, scroll down and follow instructions

An award-winning, popular, Children's Theatre School: Singing, Dance & Drama classes for children aged 4-16yrs in Witney, Oxfordshire

WOAPA is an award-winning independent Theatre School for children aged 4-16 years, which operates in Witney, Oxfordshire, at weekends during the standard academic term.

Our classes are led by experienced and enthusiastic tutors whose skills in working with young people will enable your child to develop at his/her own pace, and encourage them to reach their true potential.

Providing quality tuition in the three disciplines of Singing, Dance and Drama, our classes ensure that your child receives the individual attention he or she deserves.

We promote a positive environment - where students have fun as they celebrate their individuality and achievements.

Working as part of a team, students are encouraged to be creative and value the experience of working closely with others towards a common goal. Skills are developed and refined, enabling students to become multi-disciplined, all-round performers.

We offer fantastic additional opportunities to our students. At WOAPA, we take pride in going that extra mile. We have arranged, and assisted our students to appear in local productions, professional stage shows (locally and national tours) in film, television and advertisements.

We regularly invite industry professionals to our school, to provide master-class sessions, giving our students access to work with performers at the top of their game.

Previous students have been successful in gaining places at prestigious drama schools and organisations (Royal Welsh college of Music & Drama, NYMT National Youth Music Theatre, Guildhall school of music, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Oxford School of Drama)

We also offer opportunities to qualify for Trinity College 'Arts Awards' in-house - assisted and moderated by our award-winning mentor.

In April 2019, 60 students took LAMDA exams with 100% pass rate.

A large number of our students come to us via recommendation from parents of children already enrolled with us.

Please ask for a taster session and view the quality of tuition first-hand.
