'The Hills Are Alive' with the sound of WOAPA students
as they take to the stage in
'The Sound Of Music'
New Theatre - Oxford
Congratulations to
Jessica, Georgia and Luca
who were all successful at recent auditions to appear in The Sound Of Music at The New Theatre, Oxford (Jan 2026).

Jessica has been singing, dancing and acting as a WOAPA student for nearly 6 years, first joining our 'Young Performers' class for ages 4-6yrs, then moving into our Friday evening main school, when aged 7.
Jessica took her Grade 1 Acting LAMDA exam in 2024 and passed with Distinction.
She was thrilled to be selected to appear in Chipping Norton's pantomime for 2024: 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.
Jessica is very excited to be appearing in Oxford's biggest theatre in 'The Sound Of Music' in January 2026.

Georgia has been attending our Saturday morning singing, dance & drama classes at WOAPA for over 7 years and in 2024 achieved a Distinction in her Grade 3 (Acting) LAMDA exam.
Credits include: 'Oliver! The Musical' at The New Theatre, Oxford (2024) 'Les Misérables' at Radley College (2024) and 'Cinderella' at The Cornerstone, Didcot, (2024).
Georgia is about to appear in BYMT's 'The Glamification of Loki' at Southwark Playhouse (Elephant) in August 2025.
Georgia is thrilled to be performing in The Sound Of Music at The New Theatre, Oxford in the New Year, 2026.

Luca has been attending singing, dance & drama classes at WOAPA for just over a year and has only recently started auditioning for large-scale productions.
He was thrilled to be selected at audition to play the role of Kurt in The Sound Of Music as is looking forward to performing in The New Theatre in January 2026.
Luca recently took his LAMDA 'Entry' exam, at WOAPA, and was awarded a distinction.

It's a pleasure to see our students having fun each week in our singing, dance & drama classes.
Even better to see their self-esteem and confidence grow - to the point where so many of them now feel equipped to go out to auditions for professional shows AND secure those roles.
We are so proud of our dedicated team of tutors who help them to succeed and do so well.

We offer fantastic additional opportunities to our students. At WOAPA, we take pride in going that extra mile. We have arranged, and assisted our students to appear in local productions, professional stage shows (locally and national tours) in film, television and advertisements.
Alongside our children's activities, we have a choir in Witney for adults. If you would like to join us, please ask for details about our Witney Choir.
We also have a Guitar Club in Witney for adults. The Witney Guitar Club meets weekly. Do contact us for details.
