West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts became a LAMDA centre for exams in Witney, Oxfordshire in February this year.
What does that mean?
A LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts) registered centre is one that fulfils the criteria detailed in the LAMDA Code of Practice.
Being a registered centre signifies WOAPA meets LAMDA’s administrative, regulatory and policy requirements, delivering quality assurance for all.
Not only can we coach our students using the LAMDA syllabus but we are also able to hold graded examinations in-house (ie the examiner comes to us) making it a better experience for our students.

West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts is an independent Theatre School for children aged 4-16 years, which operates at weekends during the standard academic term.
Our classes are led by experienced tutors whose skills in working with young people enable our students to develop at their own pace, and encourage them to reach their true potential.
Providing quality tuition in the three disciplines of Singing, Dance and Drama, our classes ensure that your child receives the individual attention he or she deserves.
We promote a positive environment - where students have fun as they celebrate their individuality and achievements.
Working as part of a team, students are encouraged to be creative and become multi-disciplined, all-round performers.
At WOAPA, we take pride in going that extra mile. We offer fantastic additional opportunities to our students and have assisted our students to appear in local productions, professional stage shows (locally and national tours) in film, television and advertisements.
