WOAPA's latest virtual choir release: "Come So Far (got so far to go)"

WOAPA's latest 'Lockdown' Virtual Choir video.

Following our last Virtual Choir video with Queen's Brian May (now seen over 15,000 times),
we decided to select a more upbeat track for our next project.

"Come So Far (got so far to go)" seemed perfect for the current Covid-19 situation, with the lyrics:

"Can't wait for tomorrow - just as long as you're dancing next to me"

"Let's move past the bad times ... and learn from all the mistakes we made"

"Shine the light and take my hand - let's dance into the promised land"

"We've come so far - but then baby, we've got so far to go".

We were fortunate to have Thom Conroy, music student at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama musically arrange the project
- and recruit other musicians from the college (and friends) to play alongside some students from our children's theatre school
and adults from our singing groups.
Please see the video below - we hope you enjoy the end result!

Brian & Louise

During this time of great uncertainty we are constantly thinking about our wonderful WOAPA students and singers and looking at ways we can continue to get them all singing at home.
We've always received emails from singers saying how taking part in our groups has helped them, in a variety of ways, so we know first-hand what the benefits of singing are - from the experienced to the absolute beginner.

Keep singing folks!
