"I just wanted to send a huge THANK YOU to you and your team for the incredible opportunities you are giving these lucky children in West Oxfordshire. I can’t put into words the excited anticipation that gets us all off to a great start on Saturday mornings and the sense of something wonderful having happened for our son each time he leaves the academy and shares what he has been doing with us all at home. What he is getting out of this is immeasurable and we are so grateful to you all. WOAPA is giving our son the opportunity to be himself. - ND WOAPA Parent
"I've seen what Brian and the team are doing here - what I would like to say to the kids is: get involved and you'll find fun, energy and inspiration. Join WOAPA, make new friends, explore creativity, have lots of fun ... and lets see where the journey might end".- Tim Noble - Choreographer - Kylie Minogue/Purestar Productions
"xxx really enjoyed the Witney Youth Choir 'Showchoir' session yesterday (and I was also impressed with what I heard!)
A popular Children's Saturday Theatre School: Singing, Dance & Drama classes for children aged 4-16yrs. Witney, Oxfordshire
Member of the FSB
Federation of Small Businesses
WOAPA is an award winning independent Theatre School for children aged 4-16 years, which operates in Witney Oxfordshire at weekends during the standard academic term. Our classes are led by experienced and enthusiastic tutors whose skills in working with young people will enable your child to develop at his/her own pace, and encourage them to reach their true potential.
Providing quality tuition in the three disciplines of Singing, Dance and Drama, our classes ensure that your child receives the individual attention he or she deserves.
We promote a positive environment - where students have fun as they celebrate their individuality and achievements.
Working as part of a team, students are encouraged to be creative and value the experience of working closely with others towards a common goal. Skills are developed and refined, enabling students to become multi-disciplined, all-round performers.
Watch how your child develops, in….
An expanding imagination
In order to share our students’ progress we arrange informal performances for families. Parents also receive written reports at regular intervals.
WOAPA provides its own internal awards for achievement in class. For those students wishing to undertake more formal study, assessments can be arranged for both LAMDA and Arts Award.
With no entry auditions or previous experience required, whether your child dreams of a career in the performing arts, musical theatre, or simply wants to make new friends, WOAPA will boost their confidence … and they'll have loads of fun!
We understand that you need to know your child will enjoy our singing dance & drama classes before you sign up. That's why we're happy to organise a taster session for your child - and a tour round our theatre school for you (booking required: subject to availability).
At WOAPA, we take pride in going that extra mile for our students. We regularly arrange, and assist our students to appear in local productions, professional stage shows and on television. We regularly organise theatre trips and also invite industry professionals to our school, to provide master-class sessions & workshops. We're very proud of our Children's Drama School, so contact us today and we'll be happy to talk to you.
